But this is not the only reason it holds a special place in our hearts – Portobello Oud is a beautiful memory of where our company began. We started selling church candles at Portobello Market in the early 90s, placed next to a stand selling essential oils and soon the idea of True Grace began to grow and develop. Remembering these days is always wonderfully nostalgic and one thing we distinctly remember is the unique mix of fragrances at the market – spices, teas, antique furniture and leather. Portobello Oud is a complex fragrance with spicy notes of coriander and ginger, woody oud and sandalwood and a hint of deep patchouli, rounding off the fragrance perfectly.
